Mission School
MISSION SCHOOL
This mod introduces Mission Schools, a new building designed to convert and assimilate populations.
Mission Schools enroll Pops that do not belong to the primary culture or state religion and educate them through different educational systems. Over time, students graduate and are gradually assimilated into the primary culture or converted to the state religion depending on the chosen policy.
FEATURES
• New building: Mission School
• New Pop type: Students
Students are educated and eventually graduate each year. Graduates are assimilated or converted depending on the selected education policy.
Education Methods
• Basic Education
• Boarding Education
• State Curriculum
Education Policies
• Missionary Education
• Cultural Assimilation
• Strict Discipline
GAMEPLAY IMPACT
Mission Schools provide a new tool for managing cultural assimilation and religious conversion, allowing countries to integrate minority populations through institutional education.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The new pop type Students is only available to Pops that are not part of the primary culture or do not follow the state religion.
Such Pops are more likely to become Students, representing populations sent to mission schools for assimilation or conversion (though this is not guaranteed, as Pops prefer becoming Students rather than remaining unemployed).
Once a Pop becomes a Student, they have a yearly chance to graduate.
When Students graduate:
• Cultural Assimilation makes them adopt the primary culture
• Missionary Education converts them to the state religion
• Strict Discipline applies both assimilation and conversion
