Grunkle Stan
This is a submission for the Extended Workshop Cartoon Jam.
Stan Pines from Gravity Falls joins Rivals of Aether! I don’t really know what archetype his moveset is, but he has a lot of projectiles and burst options to keep opponents guessing.
Just try to look away, you can’t! Damages and stuns anyone who gets just a little too close, leaving them wide open for combos. This move leaves Stan wide open though, so use it sparingly!
Stan casts a fishing line, which launches anyone hit towards him. This also sends him at the hit player, leading to powerful followups or recovery mixups.
Stan does a big jump, just like that time he definitely tried to save Waddles from that pterodactyl. Totally. This move acts as a command grab, making it useful for taking opponents with you wherever you’re going!
Oh no! A letter ripped! A giant H from a very welcoming and trustworthy balloon falls in front of Stan, which has a powerful spike hitbox. Stan is left wide open during this move, so using it requires careful planning to use effectively. (or edgeguarding, that works too)
