Description:

Hey everyone! So here’s my first upload to the Workshop using the new blueprint system, starting with the Adobe HQ building in San Jose, CA.

I wanted to recreate the fantastic technology headquarters you see scattered around the Bay Area in a game, and although I tried my hand at modeling in Cities Skylines with a similar ambition, 3d design appeared after a while to not be my strong suit. So, when room cloning, blueprinting and workshop functionality was added to Software Inc, I figured it’d be a perfect opprotunity!

I’m planning on doing a number of other buildings and turning this into a pack for all to use.

This current version is unfurnished; everything except for the outdoor areas is completely barren. In a little while I’ll post a filled in version, but this will allow you to build it out the way you see fit! A few notes on this item and the pictures available

-Sorry in advance for the squished look, I believe the actual HQ is ~18 stories, so I compressed it into about half. The overhead matches the profile almost exactly, but we lose out on some height due to the 10 story limit.
-Floors four and five contain sky bridges that attach all three towers.
-One thing I think is very important is that it is mapped to fit within the constraints of parking/roads. As you can see in some of the pictures, it perfectly snaps into that footprint allowing it to fit well, especially in the "city" location.
-The top floors are windowless, best probably to fill with A/C units that will cool the building.
-The bottom floor runs under the entire building, and is a perfect candidate for floor level data centers or for heating/AC units.
-Once I have the furnished version, I’ll update this page with a link to it.

I have a number of buildings I’d like to recreate and will post them as I finish, but please let me know of any requests of buildings you’d like to see, and I’ll try and add them to my list. Also, any questions/suggestions are appreciated!
