They are The Abandoned. Revenants of the old world. Sheperds of The Lost. And they prowl the fallen cities.
This humble mod is a small expansion pack for The Lost, bringing some variant enemies to the fight. This mod doesn’t add any fancy loot or equipment for XCOM to use. Just enemies.
Since this is often a question asked, yes, this mod is compatible with LWOTC.
