Pokeball Mod
Are you tired of being outnumbered? Are you sick of having to bring dumb AI with you everywhere when you just need them in a firefight? Are you just feeling lonely?
If you answered yes to any of these questions then have I got the mod for you. Thanks to new revolutionary technology and memetic chemicals, I bring to you the Pokeball mod.
Features:
Bring 4 different types of AI with you stored in pokeballs inside your equipment. (Rifleman, Grenadier, Autorifleman, AT Rifleman) Throw them when you need them and watch them fight your foes. The AI that spawns in corresponds with your side.
Feeling lonely? Play as a Civilian (if you don’t immediately get WarCrimed) and spawn random doggos with any pokeball (except basic)
Feeling genocidal? Too bad because if you kill enough of your pets, they will no longer get out of their balls.
Feeling creative? Scroll down to the Cool Stuff section and learn how to spawn in any soldier.
Note: In the virtual arsenal, your side is set to civilian so you will only spawn in doggos. To fully experience this mod, play as a soldier of one of the non-civilian sides and place an arsenal to access the pokeballs. Then have fun.
Cool Stuff:
In order to spawn any soldier (with a class name) in with the basic pokeball (Called “Pokeball” with no parenthesis), use this script:

You can find all vanilla A3 class names using the page below. You can use soldiers from other mods but you first have to find the class name.

Note: You can also spawn vehicles (no crew), but not items or buildings (ei guns or hescos).
Edit: This script was changed from the last one for security reasons and now only works in singleplayer to avoid cheating.

Known Bugs:
When using the basic pokeball script, if you spawn in a man with a classname that is typically an enemy of the thrower’s faction, friendly ai will consider the thrown man as hostile and attack it.
This mod is not compatible with ace’s alternative throwing of grenades; however, you can still use the pokeballs with default throwing.
Not a bug but still being worked on is that thrown objects do not take damage while in air.

Anyone is free to: put this in any sort of modpack, modify or change it for personal use, use it for any non-commercial purpose.
You are not allowed to: Monetize it in any way shape or form
This includes using it as a micro-transaction on servers, making it available for use through any sort of paywall, adding it as a reward for donations, or any action in which monetizes this mod or any contents in it.
This mod is protect by Fair Use and uses assets made completely from scratch.
