"You know what, friend? Keep talking about the Grail, the Lady, Chivalry, whatever you want, no problem. Just not to me."
– Leofric Carrard
The Lady’s designs sometimes take tortuous paths. Thus Leofric Carrard, a brave Bretonnian champion who became a veteran of the Northern Wars against the forces of Chaos, separated from his wife and son, had to save the forest of Athel Loren from an invasion of Beastmen only to be told that he would have to complete many more heroic deeds until he could be reunited him with his family. Taking on the Grail Quest he embarked on an adventure that took him to the Far East – Grand Cathay, the fabled Kingdoms of Ind, and as far as the inhospitable lands of Khuresh – followed only by the most determined pilgrims and the most desperate outcasts, dismantling and rebuilding his camp so often that it turned it into a veritable moving fortress. How far will these journeys take him? If the Lady spoke truly, perhaps one day to his beloved wife and son. But after so long, even the most faithful heart cannot help but doubt.

Wandering Keeps
Leofric Carrard’s eternal quest has taken him to the ends of the earth, depriving him of the support of his lands and people. After many years of wandering in the Far East, his entourage now consists solely of adventurers and particularly determined pilgrims. Not the ideal profile for managing estates – on the other hand, their experience on the road has made them inveterate camp masters, whose huge caravans have become veritable mobile fortresses.
Treasure Tent
Despite his wavering faith, or perhaps because of it, Leofric Carrard seems to receive great attention from the Lady, who predisposes him to find relics, which he can place in his treasure tent in order to benefit from various advantages for the advancement of his quest, even miracles in battle. However, his lack of devotion means that the Green Knight will never answer his call, even in the face of the greatest dangers.
Protection of the Forests
Saviour of Athel Loren, Leofric Carrard’s reputation among the Asrai is well established. As such, he can freely establish fortified settlements in the Magic Forests and recruit reinforcements from the Wood Elves to accompany him on his quest. What’s more, during his many years spent with them, he has been initiated into the use of the ancient pathway of the Deeproots, enabling him and his army to cover immense distances in a short while.
New generic LordPathmaker
Among all the wanderers of the Old World, those who inspire the most admiration are undoubtedly the Bretonnian Pathmakers. With little more than sturdy boots for equipment, these adventurers armed with odds and ends wield broken swords and rickety shields – sorry, "relics". And so they set off, in rags, across the continents, carried by their unshakeable faith in destiny.
New generic HeroesScholar
Bretonnian scholars are quite a rare sight. In a land ruled by chivalry and faith, as others chase glory with lance and sword, they pursue knowledge, studying, among other things, ancient fortifications, foreign engineering, and the mechanics of war.\nThough some knights eye them warily, their results speak loudly: stronger keeps, swifter sieges, fewer wasted lives. Ink-stained and methodical, they wage war not with bravado, but with intellect — quiet innovators in a realm of shining steel.
Warden
The Wardens live on the border between two worlds: on one side, court life, tournaments, and campaigns; on the other, nature, hunting, and forests. These elven warriors are experts in the use of weapons and are also specialists in plants. Devoted to the goddess Lileath, but emancipated from the kinship structures of the Asrai, they most often serve the Bretonnian lords, and are more likely to be found in human taverns than in elven quarters.
Ronin
Sometimes Ronins arrive in various ports in the Far East, leading small mercenary armies. Deprived of their masters, these experienced samurai are always looking for opportunities to prove their worth on the battlefield, or to die honourably at the hands of the enemy.\nIn the name of a just cause, and for an appropriate price, they place themselves at the service of virtuous generals – at least insofar as generosity is a virtue.

I actually read Graham McNeil’s Guardians of the Forest to learn about this character, and I got some of inspiration from there, even though in the end I took a lot of liberties also… still I would say this is not necessarily incompatible with the book. - Can I make a submod?
