Description:

This small mod attempts to slow down your campaign a bit by making buildings take longer and be more expensive to construct. Specifically, a flat +2 turns has been added to your construction time, which means all buildings will require a minimum of 3 turns to construct, and can go up to 7 turns for tier 5 buildings. Additionally, all building costs have been doubled. Expanding your cities should now feel like a big deal and make you actually chase after those resources like a real Bronze Age merchant.

The increased construction TIME applies both to the player and the AI. The increased construction COST applies only to the player, as the AI is just bad managing its money and ends up being unable to build almost anything.

Note that if you are using another mod that increases construction time/cost, this mod will likely stack with it. This may lead to construction times/costs getting larger than intended. Be mindful of what mods you are subscribed to, you likely don’t need this mod if you are subscribed to any of the big realism overhauls like Agony.

I suggest combining this mod with a mod that makes buildings a bit stronger (I might make one myself at some point).
