Japanese Rail Crossing Sound
This is a very small mod that replaces the default train crossing sound with a Japanese railway crossing chime sound. Installation requires, unfortunately, a couple of manual steps.
# Installation
1. Subscribe to this workshop item
2. Open game folder by right-clicking on game in Steam -> Manage -> Show Local files. The path should say somethinkg like `steamappscommonSovietRepublicmedia_soviet`
3. In a new window, find workshop folder for the mod in steamappsworkshopcontent7841503636851430
4. If you don’t have any other sound mods installed, you can just copy ‘sounds’ folder and paste it into `sounds` folder in `steamappscommonSovietRepublicmedia_soviet`, replacing files (script.ini). If you have other mods installed, only copy the `wav` folder from the workshop folder into `steamappscommonSovietRepublicmedia_sovietsounds`, and edit `steamappscommonSovietRepublicmedia_sovietsoundsscript.ini` to replace train_crossing.wav with train_crossing_jp.wav
Upon mod or game updates, it might be necessary to re-run the steps if the original sound is restored
# Uninstall
Run a `verify integrity of game files` and the contents of this mod should be reverted. The option can be found by right clicking on the game in Steam -> Manage -> Installed Files -> Verify integrity of game files
# Compatibility:
This mod is compatible with the latest version of Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic. It should work with other mods, but compatibility is not guaranteed.
