Five Tenets for All Faiths
Tired of every faith only having three tenets, when so many more tenets could apply to each faith? Even if you get a mod that increases the number of tenets, the AI will never use it and every base religion will remain at three tenets. Well, no more! This mod adds two tenets to every faith in the game, making it so every faith in the game has five tenets.
The goals of this mod are:
- Balance: Mods that add tenet slots make it so any custom faith is going to be better than any base game faith, simply due to there being more tenets. This fixes that.
- Variety: There are fewer combinations of three tenets than five tenets, so there should be greater variety between faiths.
- Accuracy: Three tenets mean many faiths lack tenets that they should have based on the real life practices.
I have tried to research each faith in order to find appropriate tenets to add, but my efforts are ultimately going to be limited due to the limitations of the existing tenets and the limitations of my research, especially for the obscure or fictional religions.
This mod requires a mod that adds more tenet slots, and is meant to be used with my More Tenet Slots – Five Tenets mod, although other mods that to the same thing will probably be compatible.
This mod adds the tenets on the first day of the game, so do not worry if you do not see the extra tenets in the character creator.
This mod overrides no files, so it should be compatible with any mod that does not modify the base game religions. This mod should technically be compatible with mods that add new religions, although they will not have tenets add to them.
