(big updates on the DE version)

What it does

This mod creates a timer which keeps track of the time of day, then it changes the atmospheres where the player is located to match that time of day. The weather currently has only 4 random settings (fog, rain, heavy rain, sunny). There are areas which I excluded on purpose since it’s not fitting in those areas (like desert).

I used a blue night setting to make the ground a little more illuminated at night – since the game wasn’t designed for this and true black night would make it nearly impossible to see where you’re going.

Bedroll

Using a bedroll will increase time by 1 in-game hour (will work even if you are already ‘rested’).

Current time settings

1 in-game hour = 3 mins
Day/Night = 10 in-game hours each (30 mins each)
Dusk/Dawn = 2 in-game hours each (6 mins each)

Shadows

If shadows start flickering between phases, you can turn your shadows on high quality to smooth them out.

Note: This mod doesn’t work on for the last area of the game (it doesn’t fit well with it so I left it out). Also it’s not compatible with tilt camera mods because of the box probe I had to use to soften the shadows. There is also an area in Reapers Coast that is always sunny since one of the quests wouldn’t make sense otherwise.

This version is no longer being updated and maintained. Please use the DE version.
