FirePoint FP-1
Fire Point is a Ukrainian defense technology company headquartered in Kyiv. Founded in 2022 in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, it specializes in the design, development, and production of long-range strike drones and cruise missiles. The company’s flagship products are the FP-1 long-range drone and the FP-5 Flamingo cruise missile, which are used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to deliver precision strikes against deep-seated targets in Russian-controlled territory. The FP-1 is a turbojet-powered kamikaze drone with a payload of 60 kg. Its design is modular, easy to assemble, and resistant to electronic warfare. This development, according to some sources, was used in more than 60% of Ukrainian strikes deep into Russian territory, targeting ammunition depots, oil refineries and command centers.
Ukrainian company Fire Point presented a "middle strike" class strike drone for striking front-line targets with a 100-kilogram warhead at the MSPO exhibition in Kielce. The FP-2 repeats the design of the long-range FP-1 drone, which is used to strike targets in the Russian rear. However, its range has been reduced from 1,400 to 200 kilometers, and the warhead has been increased to 105 kilograms. The drone is made in versions with autonomous guidance for strikes on static objects, as well as with the possibility of manual control by the operator via radio channel for striking moving targets. There are known successful attacks, in particular, in October FP-2 hit Russian bases in the occupied territory, and in November SSR drones hit oil depots and fuel trains in Crimea.
