This Mod adds one Leader Balon Greyjoy of the Ironborn to standard gameplay.
Balon Greyjoy is a character in the fantasy A Song of Ice and Fire (original story of HBO show Game of Thrones, AKA GoT), the head of House Greyjoy. The following-up Mods will feature House Stark, House Lannester and other major Lords in the fantacy.
Civilization Trait: We Do Not Sow.
Ironborn cannot produce or purchase builder units. Instead, all melee and naval melee units have chance to capture enemy civilization combat units into Thralls, which is a unique builder type unit to Ironborn. Different from regular Builder units, Thralls will be able to embark after Astrology technology.
Leader Trait: The Iron Fleet.
All naval units has +1 movement and +5 combat strength.
Unique Building: Captains’ Tavern.
Replaces Watermill and unlocks at Sailing Technology. Provides +2 extra housing, +1 Great Admiral point, and boosts +1 production, +1 gold and +2 faith yields of fishing boats. Grant 1 Thrall unit to the city upon completion of Captains’ Tavern.
New building model imported for this UB, that’s why the Mod is a bit large. Apologies.
Unique Unit: Thrall.
Replacement of builders, can only be captured through combat or purchased with faith in cities has Captains’ Tavern.
Unique Unit: Iron Longship.
Naval raid class unit unique to the Ironborn, unlocks at Celestial Nevigation. Has stealth ability and can capture enemy naval units.

Strategies:
Although this Leader seems to have very strong naval capability, it is recommended to produce some warriors and archers at early era, storm your neighbor Civ or City State, to capture as many Thralls as possible. Otherwise without good amount of improvements in your territory, your Civ will develop slow, eventually loose the game.

Developer Notes:
Till now I haven’t triggered a single time that a naval melee unit such as Galley capturing Thralls through combat as intended. Please report if it actually happens. Otherwise I have to revisit the coding.
