Tankery Skirmish Conversion – Girls und Panzer
Converts skirmish mode (Domination & Battle Zones) to be as close as possible to a game of Tankery / Sensha-Do / paintball with tanks.
I guess you know the rules if you’re here:
- Build your team of tanks at the start of the match
- Each unit lost will lower your team’s HP (score)
- Take out all enemy team vehicles
- Capture enemy base flag
- Defend your base flag
Chose a map in Domination or Battle Zones, select war period, ammount of MP and play with your favourite tanks againts the enemy team.
Mod is tuned for 1v1 or 2v2, againt either players or bots. Multiplayer should work fine, but hasn’t been tested. Battles with more players will work but team HP might be too low, meaning the match will end before all tanks are disabled.

No DLC is required. Base game gives you 9 factions to play with, 12 if you own all DLCs.
- can’t use anything other than tanks
- tank is anything with tank tracks
- that means the 600mm Karl-Gerät train mortar is technically a tank <3
- better categories: arty / light / medium / heavy / spg insted of one big pile of tanks
- enabled a few cheap transport vehicles with tank tracks. No weapons, but can be used to take flags
- any category can be disabled (for example, no artillery or only light tanks match)
- all tanks unlocked, no doctrine / time gating
- static amount of MP to build your team at the start and nothing more than that
- MP presets for smaller or bigger battles
- "*_standard" preset should allow team size of ~5 tanks
- no DP
- unlimited CP, you’re already limited by MP
- fog is enabled by default
Domination – this is the main gamemode, all changes were made with this in mind
- victory points are static 300 (equivalent of team’s HP)
- losing tanks will lower your points
- victory achieved by losing less points (tanks) than the other team
- or just take the enemy base flag to win
- flags give a fixed amount of victory points, so you can restore your points
Battle Zones – also works, but wasn’t tested as much
- closer to a standard game
- losing tanks will lower your points
- captured flags will generate points over time
- winning depends more on controlling flags, even if all of your tanks are destroyed
- tanks losses matter much less than in Domination
- AI bots work with all 12 factions, all 3 periods of war
- You can enjoy watching bot matches as a spectator, just like with train screens in GuP.
- bots will buy all tanks at the start of the match, until the end of their MP
- then take flags, eliminate other team’s tanks and capture enemy base
- changed AI behaviour to be more responsive and aggresive
- only infantry units allowed are the ones operating tanks
- without a tank, they are mostly useless
- can be killed inside or outside the tank (let’s pretend they are going unconscious)
- all tank crews are disarmed
- they can’t take flags
- all of them have binoculars, smoke grenades and bandages
- can be used as scouts
- they can repair tanks or steal enemy team’s tanks
- transport vehicles come with extra tank crews to replace those elminated and engineers to build fortifications
- Axis & Alies changed to team A & B, any faction can be selected for either team
- each bot gets an appropriate school symbol
