Tired of squinting at building icons that all look the same?

Yeah, me too. So I fixed ’em.

Better Building Icons overhauls the building icons in Farthest Frontier to be cleaner, sharper, and way easier to tell apart at a glance. No more accidentally clicking the wrong building because the icons are tiny and muddy — every icon has been reworked to actually look like the thing it represents.

That’s it. No gameplay changes, no balance tweaks, nothing weird. Just icons that don’t make your eyes bleed.

What this mod does
  • Replaces building icons with cleaner, more distinct versions
  • Makes it way easier to find what you’re looking for in the build menu
  • Looks nice. That’s a feature.

I highly recommend changing the UI Scale in Settings > Interface to at least 2 or higher.

Install

Subscribe, run the game in Mono mode, restart, and you’re good. Check the pinned guide if you’ve never installed a Workshop mod before.

Compatibility

Should play nice with pretty much everything since it’s only touching icons. If something breaks, let me know in the comments and I’ll take a look.
