Arstotzka 3.0 (Unpopulated)
Arstotzka is a communist country and the main setting of the game Papers, Please. It is where the player character works at the Grestin border checkpoint with Kolechia. Arstotzka and Kolechia came out of the Six-Year War shortly before September 1982 and relations between the two countries remain somewhat volatile. A particularly heated subject is the status of the city of Grestin, a border town divided into East Grestin, which is under Arstotzkan jurisdiction, and West Grestin, which is part of Kolechia. That’s the reason why there is a reinforced wall between the two countries.
This map is based on the map that appears in the game Papers Please and on the vague references they give about the other cities in the country, I hope you like it. Arstotzka borders Kolechia (capitalist) to the west, Obristan (communist) to the north, Skoatia (communist) to the east, and has access to the sea on the south, every country has a border checkpoint. The four main cities mentioned in the game have been represented on the map and are linked by road, Paradizna (the capital), Grestin (divided into East and West), Nirsk and Orvech Vonor.
People of Kolechia are bad people by definition and they hate us for our political convictions but don’t worry because they won’t attack our country (mainly because the game doesn’t allow it…) so you can make deals with Kolechia without the danger of being attacked by Kolechian terrorists.
Glory Arstotzka!
(In the version 3.0 the map has been remodeled, now it has mountains and rivers, the resources had changed the locations and East Grestin now looks better)
