"Mars Dominion forces have successfully shot down a UCN orbital scout vessel while it was operating along Mars’ outer orbit. The vessel crashlanded somewhere on the surface, with Mars Dominion search parties tailing close behind.
Initial reports suggest the wreck has already been stripped, and its surveillance components are being prepared for off world transport for study.
To prevent critical intelligence from falling into enemy hands, the UCN has authorized a rapid recovery operation."
