Description:

This mod introduces new restrictions on colonizing Africa, adding historical progression through medical advances.

Rules:

  • African Nations
    If your capital is in Africa, you can colonize anywhere without restriction.
  • Non-African Nations
    You cannot colonize Africa by default.

    Exceptions (always allowed):

    • Macaronesia (Azores, Canaries, etc.)
    • Cape Verde
    • Mascarenes
    • East African Islands (e.g. Comoros, Mahé)

  • Jesuit’s Bark (Age V Advance)
    Allows colonization of coastal provinces in Africa (provinces with at least one coastal location).
  • Quinine (Age VI Advance)
    Allows full colonization of Africa without restrictions.
