[PROPS] Airbus A400M Atlas
The Airbus A400M Atlas is a multirole military transport aircraft designed by Airbus Defence and Space, which entered service in 2013. As of 30 November 2022, it had received 178 orders, of which 115 have been delivered.
The project, selected in 2000 following a call for tenders, has been plagued by delays and cost overruns. Assembled in Seville, it left the factory in June 2008, but was not finally certified for military use until August 2013.
Designed for strategic and tactical transport missions, the A400M is capable of carrying up to 37 tonnes of freight over 4,500 km. Its fly-by-wire controls make it as manoeuvrable as the much lighter Dassault Falcon 10 twin-engine jet. Its specifications make it similar to the Ukrainian Antonov An-70.
It was a real pain in the ass to optimise the model, it’s far from perfect as there are holes in it and texture problems, I’ll try to work on the model to improve it.
