– Just Floating Fay – what is? –

     So I was once lingering in the faction selection menu for campaign, looking at Fay’s spotlight video, and wondered, why does she have to have this weird lightning flashing eyes and smoking head?
Alright, I guess some Bretonian knights do consider her smoking hot, but certainly not to this extent?
     So I was wondering this, and thought if maybe I can help it. And then she said – to use her own words – "I deem your quest worthy." And now, here it is, for you to enjoy 🙂

– What does it do? –

     This mod does precisely that – removes the lightning eyes of Fay, and also gets rid of the smoke-like aura around her, leaving her, basically, just floating. In my opinion it just looks better, and at least to me makes much more sense, considering the fact that she looses those when getting her trusty unicorn mount, and that this aura is not visible on her spotlight video, even though she is floating.

– Compatibility –

     This mod should be compatible with pretty much everything, if only it doesn’t modify the file hu1b_bretonnian_fay_enchantress_persistent_metadata_alive_0.anm.meta under animationsbattlepersistent.
Somehow I doubt it would, but I decided to place the warning just in case.

– Installation –

     Just subscribe and you should be all set 🙂

– Alternative file –

     Also just in case that something does modify the file (some animation or vfx overhaul perhaps?), I’ve prepared the movie file. To set this up, please download this file[drive.google.com] and place it in your Total War Warhammer IIdata folder.

     Now, as a precaution, I mark the file as read-only, but I am not entirely sure if it’s really needed.
As I said, I do it anyway, as a precaution. I’m kinda paranoid. 🙂

     Needless to say, that if you go for the movie file, you don’t need to subscribe for this mod to work.
You can of course still subscribe, if nothing else just to show the support for what I do.
