Absolute Shots
Did it ever bother you that when your soldiers level up, it actually takes MORE TU to fire a gun because shooting takes a percentage of total TUs? This mods fixes that – weapons now cost a flat TU amount to fire.
The TU cost to fire weapons was recalculated by taking the average of the TU amount that the percentage would cost for minimum TU stat (40) and maximum TU stat (64) soldiers, at game start. This means you’ll start out with the same costs as the base game, but your soldiers will rapidly become more capable as they gain experience.
Notes:
– This mod is for the default branch of Xenonauts 2,
– This mod only affects human-fireable weapons. It does not affect the weapons aliens use, nor does it affect vehicle or aircraft weapons in any way.
– Due to the way inheritance works among weapons in Xenonauts 2, this SHOULD affect every weapon you can build. Please report any weapons that do not work!
– This mod does NOT affect the ground combat tooltips or text in the armory, as that text is not sourced from the weapon stats. Fixing this is possible but not currently planned.
– So far, this mod appears to support being enabled or disabled mid-campaign. If you run into a save/load issue, please report it!
