‘Trading’ for Oligarchies: A Lotr Realms in Exile Submod
Updated to Realms in Exile Stable!
This mod enables Bartering for all oligarchies, something the developers seem to have considered but haven’t yet implemented. It also replaces barter-related icons and images with commercial ones.
It’s technically possible to duplicate the images so Wanua government players don’t see their system visually altered, but I don’t think it’s worthwhile considering how few characters have this government activated and the upcoming trade DLC at the end of the year.
Features:
- Enables bartering for oligarchic governments.
- Replaces barter icons and images with trade icons.
- Allows obtaining barter goods from some buildings (existing in "RiE vanilla").
Compatibility and errors:
- It should be compatible with any other mod that doesn’t modify governments (place it under RiE).
- There’s a bug when being a vassal of another character because it allows you to barter in your own territory. I don’t know if it’s part of vanilla CK3, but I think it’s a good exploit for the player.
