Smarter Bot AI – Patched2K

Smarter Bot AI – Patched2K is a compatibility and maintenance fork of Daisy’s Smarter Bot AI, focused on keeping bot behavior useful on current Barotrauma versions while staying close to the original mod’s intent.

The mod improves bot repair priorities, safer idle behavior for injured bots, restocking behavior, equipment cleanup, reactor handoff behavior, and custom order support.

– Added: Injured idle bots can look for safe beds, repair triage settings, and refreshed menu/order icons.
– Changed: Bots are more careful about repair priority, restocking, and safe diving-gear cleanup.
– Fixed: Current update fixes order wheel issues, load/reload cleanup errors, injured-bot bed checks, custom Perform order targeting, repair-priority console spam, safe-room gear cleanup errors, and the custom order icon background.
– Removed: No gameplay systems removed.

– Required: LuaCs/Luatrauma.
– Optional: None.
– Load order: Enable LuaCs/Luatrauma before this mod.

– v2.0.8 primarily fixed issues related to bot repair behavior.

Known issues:
– Custom orders and newer repair/bed behavior still need broader testing across different submarines and modpacks.
