FairEndless – A More Rewarding Endless Mode (v1.2.0)

This mod aims to fix that by removing the harsh vanilla penalties and replacing them with a mathematically fair, balanced system. Fair Endless keeps your economy relevant without letting it break the game exponentially.

Elite/Boss Trophies

Defeating elites and bosses is now more rewarding. Whenever you manage to kill an elite or a boss, you will be permanently rewarded with +5 max HP. This applies to both vanilla waves and endless mode, giving you a steady, skill-based way to survive the late game without breaking the balance.

Economy Changes (After Wave 20)
  • Harvesting Rework: In the vanilla game, your harvesting stat drops by 20% every single wave in endless. With this mod, the penalty is completely removed. Instead, your harvesting will grow by 3% every wave.
  • Piggy Bank Rebalance: Piggy Bank is no longer useless. To prevent infinite gold crashes but still keep it viable, the Piggy Bank’s interest rate is adjusted to a balanced 4% during endless waves.

Combat & Enemy Scaling Changes (After Wave 20)
  • Capped Enemy Speed: Enemy speed scaling now locks at Wave 20. They will still hit hard, but you can actually dodge, kite, and outplay them in the late game.
  • Curse Rebalance: In vanilla, accumulating curse (with the Abyssal Terrors DLC) makes enemy health and damage scale exponentially until they become unkillable bullet sponges. FairEndless heavily reduces the curse penalty multipliers during endless waves (health penalty impact reduced by ~66%, Damage penalty impact reduced by 50%).
    (Note: Cursed enemy variants will still spawn with their natural base toughness, but their endless power scaling will no longer spiral out of control).
