Itsy Bitsy Spider
This mod adds new spiders to the south-west of the map. The Ripperwraiths are closely related to the Grievewraiths but smaller in size. Despite this they should not be underestimated, for they are quite a bit tougher then your average skin spider. They also have a knack for hunting down their prey.
They are especially dangerous in Arach, for they blend in well with their surroundings. Best keep your eyes peeled when making your way to the Bugmaster. But if you are brave enough you might even bring back some of their eggs…
This mod is stand alone and does not require anything else. That said please check out the Grievewraiths! The model used here comes from that mod and all the credits for it’s creation go to: Daemonic Spoder! Both mods work fine together and I can highly recommend using them both. In addition Darker nights will work wonders with these dark colored spiders!
This mod includes the crossbow hitbox fix for both the spiders added here and the vanilla spiders. For a fix on the Grievewraiths check out my other mod: Grievewraith Fixes
Below is a detailed description of what you can encounter, their stats, etc etc.

Behavior:
They will act according to spider law: kill and devour!
On top of that Ripperwraiths will smell both dead bodies and carried spider eggs and will track you down.
(vanilla spiders do not smell dead bodies, at least I assume the value ‘0’ in the editor means they don’t… XD )
Stats:
Their base combat stats (adults) are all 50 besides 60 toughness.
They do have 90 athletics making them run at 17/18 mph for adults.
(For comparison: Skin Spiders have 40 across the board and run around 14 mph)
Elders are much tougher! Shocking I know…
Locations:
They mainly roam around in Arach (the bugmaster place) and Shun.
However they will spill out into: The Spider Plains, The Hook and both Bonefields.
On a very rare occasion you can even find some in the Stenn Desert.
Squads and where to encounter them:
-Base roamer squad
This squad consists of 2-8 full adults and 0-4 lesser adults
This is the squad you can encounter in all above mentioned regions.
-Scary Elder Squad
Oh boy… 1-3 Elder Ripperwraiths will rip you a new one!
Their toughness can reach just over 100 and they will run at around 27 mph.
Better hide! Or if you are a master in kiting beak things, this will be a new challenge!
These will rarely spawn, but can be encountered in: Arach, Shun, Spider Plains and both Bonefields.
-Swarm
Eeep! 12-25 Ripperwraiths with a relatively large range in age from teens to adults and beyond.
This will only spawn rarely in Arach.
-Nests
Here you can find their eggs! Only seen in Arach!
Nests have a slightly different behavior then normal.
