Description:

Darkcyber’s Landless Characters: Release 1 adds five new landless characters to Morrowind, complete with their own backstories.

~Grogar of Anvil: A former part-time sailor and full-time necromancer from the port of Anvil, Grogar now finds himself in the lands of the Telvanni, and he is loving it. Their domineering ways and arrogance are much appealing to Grogar, who now seeks to gain a sadrith tower of his own, by any means necessary.

~Odiilasuul Odilon: Orphaned by the Dres seizure of Stormhold, Odilon fell in with a group of traveling Shinathi, who took him for a toddler, rather than the adolescent dwarf he was. By 450, he has adopted the Shinathi’s ways, but still yearns in his heart for a free Stormhold.

~Valkyn Draegal: Dunmer often use Dremora as retainers, but sometimes it doesn’t end well. Summoned to be a book keeper for the Llotharyon family of House Indoril, Valkyn served for 200 years, before breaking her spell, slaying her masters, and rising the ranks of the rival House Hlaalu, through her mastery over coin. Can this Dremora climb to the top, or will she fall back down to Oblivion?

~Horrun Tall-Skald: Horrun, a wandering Skaal poet, one day makes a fatal error. She traveled to the Ashlands of the Urshilaku, only to be set upon by a ravenous vampire. She lived, but only just. In 440, she hadn’t yet caught the disease. But in 450, cursed with vampirism, will she embrace the beast, or remain her gentle self.

~Pharmax Mataxia: After being taken as a boy to be a slave for House Dres, the eyeless Orma, Pharmax, decided the best way to spite his masters was to thrive. He murdered, cheated, and stole, eventually forging documents to gain his freedom, and moving north, starting a criminal empire under the nose of House Indoril.

Release 2: The Lost Legion

Kaladas Gemharad was once a respected general in the Imperial Legion, but a recent expedition into Blackmarsh left him changed. Possessed by a spirit loyal to Mehrunes Dagon, he and his camp of loyal legionaries lies in wait in the jungles of Nibenay, watching, waiting for the perfect time to strike at crumbling Cyrodil. In 2E 440, Kaladas is still gathering strength, and has yet to reveal his true master. At the head of hundreds of legionaires, the minor lords of the Niben will be easy pickings once he’s ready to enact his grand plan.

The situation in 450 is much different. Kaladas has been assassinated! After he made public his devotion to Dagon, one of his loyal legates, the battlemage Carahil, attacked him the dead of night, disfiguring his husband, and ending the former general’s life. His adoptive son, Pelinal, took up the reigns of the Dagonite mission, but Kaladas’ legates were loyal only to him. Kaladas’ widower, Murkub, has chased his killer north, to Skyrim. Meanwhile, his lieutenants have scattered across Tamriel, becoming traders, mercenaries, and explorers.

Release 3: Vampires of Valenwood

Morasorn Durhane, the head of a powerful Ayleid merchant family, should be nearing the end of his life, but instead he doesn’t look a day over 40. many across norther Valenwood are beginning to suspect the truth, that he is a Vampire. Durhane sees his charade coming to an end as well, and has made a plan. The South Weald is weak, and by right should be his. With a little more time, he’ll be strong enough to take it for himself, and then none would dare strike at him.

The Morasorn family however, is not as united around his cause. Umeril, one of Durhane’s many children, has fled the caravan with his lover and one of Durhane’s children, abandoning the boy, Nedras, in the Reaper’s March. Seeing little chance at kingship should Durhane succeed, Umeril seeks his own fortune elsewhere, while Nedras was fortunately saved by the knight Curallo, who intends to raise him as his own. Another of Durhane’s descendants, Voltha Redwood, has left camp to rediscover her heritage among the Wood Orcs, only to be disappointed their patriarchal customs.

by 448, Curallo and Nedras eventually cone to blows with Durhane over his ambitions. In the ensuing battle, Curallo is slain, with his final ounce of strenth gives Nedras the opeing to slay his father with a sword to the back. The Morasorn clan shatters. Durhane’s youngest son, Angoromir, contracts vampirism when Durhane attempts to drain his life essence as one last grasp at survival, and thus is mistakenly seen as the Morasorn heir. The werewolf Giwuna departs with a host of hircine cultists, while the prospective Morasorn heir departs with some loyalists eastward. Voltha Redwood has as well left Valenwood by this time, finding new faith in the Sanguine worshipping lands of Soulrest.

Release 4: Cyrodilic Melting Pot, adds 11 new landless adventurers across Cyrodil and Morrowind

Release 5: The Reflections, adds 5 landless characters across Tamriel, all reflections of the Tribunal, Nerevar, and Dagoth Ur.

~ Alma Odnilir: Alma pretends at being a faithful member of the Tribunal Temple, while hiding her family’s dark secret. The Odnilir family are the blood of House Dagoth, and practice their rites in secret to keep the spirit of their house alive. Alma hid this fact from her own husband, until he discovered it for himself. Walking into one of Alma’s secret ceremonies, she acted on instinct to silence him. With her husband dead by her own hands, she has fled Morrowind for the Iliac Bay, hoping she run from her crimes, and her grief.

~ Quomoril Cilacermo: An Altmer intellectual and scholar of the Psijjic order, Quomoril has departed Arteum for somewhere much drier. He leads an expedition to the Dragontail Mountains to investigate their many Dwemer ruins, and uncover their many secrets.

~Ceviv Muatraloth (DEFINITLY NOT VIVEC IN DISQUISE): Out of place and out of time, warrior poet Ceviv finds himself the (second to) last Sinestral Mer left on Nirn, after awakening alone in the Abecean with no memory of how he got there. Not one to leave this miraculous second chance on the table, he departs to the far corners of Tamriel to write of his deeds in flowery prose, and blood.

~Voryn Ur-Mamaea: The Ur-Mamaea Clan were a terror to the Ashlands, but after a crushing defeat, they were sent into exile. Voryn, seeking to reforge his tribe, went to Grayhome to procure the power of vampirism, and their aid in a future invasion. Voryn and his brothers accomplished the first of their goals, but the Gray Host stalled on the second. After a century of waiting, Voryn has returned to the mainalnd to build an army of his own.

~ Nivan Bel-Melik: The Chimeri-Quey have long coexisted with the Keptu-Quey, but to the young Nivan, it was an insult. As he grew older, he preached the need for the Chimeri-Quey to conquer their Nedic neighbors, and create a slave empire of their backs, as the mainland Chimeri did with the Argonians under the Tribunal. His campaign of words ended with an attempted coup, which failed miserably. He escaped execution with his wife, and fled to Morrowind, where he feels very much at home.
