Long New York’s tallest building, the Empire State Building was constructed over eighty years ago during a competition with two other New York skyscrapers, The Chrysler Building and 40 Wall Street, for the title of New York’s tallest building, a title which the Empire State Building won. The building took place in the midst of the Great Depression, and became a sign of hope for the city. It also featured a spire which was originally intended to be used as a mooring for Airships, however this was scrapped as it was impossible for the craft to sucessfully dock. Ingame, the Empire State Building provides +35% Gold from City Connections, and +8 Gold upon discovering Flight, while it requires Electronics.
