=Christopher Tin=
Christopher Tin is a renowned composer best known for his contributions to the Civilization video game franchise, where his iconic works have become synonymous with the series’ grand themes of exploration and human achievement. His Grammy-winning composition Baba Yetu, the theme for Civilization IV, was the first video game music piece to win a Grammy, setting a new standard for the industry. Tin returned to the franchise with Sogno di Volare, the main theme for Civilization VI, inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s writings and embodying the spirit of human aspiration and exploration. These compositions have elevated the musical identity of Civilization, blending orchestral, world, and choral music to reflect the game’s celebration of global cultures and history.
