CLOSE COMBAT OVERHAUL
A companion mod for NOWHERAKI BURNS that adds music, shaders, icons, and text from the Black Powder | Red Earth® franchise.
- Music from BPRE: 8-Bit War, as well as the soundtracks from BPRE: Awbari and the Black Powder | Red Earth® Bandcamp page
- A desaturated red fog-of-war (uncleared space) effect that replaces the vanilla bluish hue
- Custom map marker icons based on the addax skull emblem of Crisis Troop Scorch
- Menu and game text inspired by Black Powder | Red Earth®‘s in-universe terminology
CLOSE COMBAT OVERHAUL requires no other files except the base game in order to function properly. Elements of this mod rely on vanilla assets, and may be changed by mods that affect the base game.
This mod is a thematic overhaul intended for use with NOWHERAKI BURNS, and should not necessarily be treated as a standalone project.
CLOSE COMBAT OVERHAUL is not compatible with mods that edit menu text, music, map icons, or shaders.
