Universal Font Fallback [Multi-Language Tofu FIX □□□□] (EN/JP/CN/KR)
It supports texts where multiple languages are mixed, such as the skill name "Tanglecleaver [快刀乱麻]".
■ Overview
This is a mod that solves the issue of text in other languages turning into "□" (tofu) when playing Library of Ruina mods.
Whether you launch the game in Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, or English, it automatically utilizes the official font assets existing within the game as fallbacks to display all characters normally as much as possible.
It works simply by subscribing and activating it.
■ ⚠️ Important Specifications and Limitations
This does not translate the text into other languages.
This mod strictly manages and displays "font data that already exists in the game." It does not add new font files from external sources.
Therefore, characters that do not originally exist in the game’s internal data (such as some characters unique to Traditional Chinese, special symbols, etc.) cannot be displayed even with this mod and will remain as "□". Please be aware of this in advance.
■ Known Issues
Because it combines fonts with different baselines (character heights) and character widths, there may be slight misalignments in the arrangement of numbers and English letters.
It would be greatly appreciated if you could report any bugs or issues.
