Skill Issues bundles three accessibility / visibility mods into one: high-contrast telegraphs for stomp/jump attacks, explosion blast-zones, and laser trajectory indicators. It replaces:
– Coming Down!
– Watch out, Explosion!
– Watch out, laser!
It also bundles a fourth module — Remembrall — which displays a HUD overlay listing the unvisited special rooms on the current floor, with configurable spoil levels.
Everything is configurable through Mod Config Menu. Install Mod Config Menu – Continued to unlock per-mob toggles and shared settings.
Repentogon-aware: optional callbacks light up extra accuracy on the laser/stomp/explosion telegraphs when Repentogon[repentogon.com] is installed. Works fine without it. Not tested; based on the documentation; use at your own risk
Release 1: laser indicator overhaul (custom chevron trail with cascade fade-in, four chevron sizes including a "huge" preset for Mother / Mega Satan / Sister Vis / The Beast), drop-in replacement for the three legacy mods.
Tested and developed on Rep+, just so you know, I haven’t tested the other versions.
The 4 mods have been completely updated and modernized, and the code has been cleaned up, but given how far behind I am on community mods, compatibility with legacy mods hasn’t (yet?) been implemented, so this is vanilla only.
Also, I threw this together quickly and am still getting back into the swing of things, so I haven’t necessarily had time to test ALL the monsters/bosses—let me know if you spot any bugs.
Oh, and by the way, the four legacy mods aren’t being maintained at all anymore.
I’m way too lazy, and the code is a total mess, so I’m not doing it.
