Crystal Skulls: Mighty Artifacts
"Old pirates remember: crystal skulls have been seen in these waters before. But those artifacts merely slightly improved skills. Times have changed. These skulls are different. An ancient power has truly awakened."
This mod adds three unique crystal skulls to the world, each with its own history, its own guardian, and its own secrets. Somewhere deep in the jungle, on deserted islands, and in forgotten caves, you will encounter those who protect these artifacts.
You will find:
- Three crystal skulls – each with its own mechanics, style, and cost in battle.
- Three powerful guardians and other new NPCs you will encounter.
- One new location whose existence you might not have even suspected.
- A mini-event – a trial you must overcome to obtain the skulls.
The skulls can be found in both story mode and sandbox mode. A new game is not required – with proper installation, the mod will immediately make itself known through an in-game notification.
The guardians await you at various locations across the Caribbean archipelago. A one-legged man can tell you where to find them.
This skull, carved from a single piece of blue crystal, belonged to a great Maya shaman. His spirit refused to leave the world of the living and took up residence within the crystal. The skull feeds on the life force of vanquished enemies, channeling it to its owner. Many treasure seekers have met their end in the jungles of the Yucatán searching for this artifact.
The Aztecs called it the "Heart of Tlaloc" – after the god of rain and fertility. Pink crystal was mined from sacred caves, forbidden to mortals. Priests would wash the skull in sacrificial blood, awakening its power. A warrior bearing this charm becomes nearly immortal: wounds close before one’s very eyes.
A creation of the Olmec masters, who lived long before the Maya flourished. White crystal symbolized the bones of ancestors. The skull was used in pre-war rituals: he who kissed it at dawn would wield a weapon that strikes like lightning. The conquistadors crossed themselves in terror, calling the artifact the "Breath of the Devil."
They say power cannot be seen. But when you hold a crystal skull in your hands – it hits you right in the eyes.
By placing all three skulls in your inventory, you will receive a passive ability. What is it? You will find out when it triggers in battle. The gods watch not only your strength, but also your life.
The mod has almost no conflicts with other mods!
