I would highly reccomend Chirpino Course for a well made drift course to practice the drifting. (can be found as a mod in the workshop) (load in test zone)
To drift, simply put the pedal to the medal, let go of w, turn and then the drift will initiate the second you press w again. To get out of a feedback loop you need to let go of w and tap w a few times.
