Description:

Script 95: Allows to limit train’s selection of a shift by tag

Permits multiple train and shift groups inside large schedules.

• How it works:

° Tags: Identify (and create if needed) tags for train/shift matching. For example, Main Depot and Branch Depot.

° Train side: Add script to the trains. There are no fields to fill. Add relevant tag(s) to the trains.

° Shift side: Add script to the shifts. Select desired tag (e.g. Main Depot).

Tag is optional. Shifts with no tag are allowed for any train. No need to add tags to the shift – only to the script field

° Match: When a train with this script picks from allowed shifts, it will only pick a shift that matches any of the train’s tags, or a shift with no tag selected.

• Deployment notes:

° In the schedule, approve all trains for all shifts.

Only shifts with matching tag or with no tag will be selected.
To see how many trains in each tag group, sort trains by tag.
To see how many shifts in each tag group, use shift name.

° A train with multiple tags can be matched with multiple shift groups.

° Shifts without tags are useful as depot only shifts or other special needs where any train may be used.
