About

As anyone who has tried playing as any non-European, non-Muslim country knows, there are no laws in Legal Code tab other than Traditional Law. While Decentralization is meta if someone wants to play the game a little bit differently, it’s just annoying. This mod offers a solution to this problem: a bunch of other Legal Code Laws you can swap to.

Most of them are region-locked with little overlap, typically giving just one additional law option. However, there are also 3 empire-tier laws available for everyone: one unlocked in Age of Reformation and two in Age of Absolution.

All Regional Laws require you to be at least a Kingdom and – in the case of Americas and Oceania – embracing Legalism institution and not being a colonial subject.

Disclaimer: I’ve only tested this while playing in India, so any feedback on balance is welcome.

Mod Compatibility

This mod no longer overrides the entire file, so it should now work with anything you want.
