Simplified Graphics — UPDATED
Simplified graphics mod for potato PCs with integrated graphics. Removes 1.5 sec long tooltip delay from original mod and restores graphic additions from later versions of the game (compared to the original mod). Are you playing on a potato? This mod removes clouds, water reflections and terrain details so the map appears flat. Not recommended if you are playing on something with an actual GPU.
When I’m away from home I can only play on a 12" Macbook and I’m lucky to average frame rates of 10 on very low. This mod makes a simple adjustment in the graphics settings so the map behaves as if it is always zoomed out to max. Now I can get frames of 20-30. Yay. Best used in political map mode.
