Wizards for Grand Cathay (7.2)
This mod adds imperial wizards from the missing lores to Grand Cathay. It adds a new hero type: "Elemental Wizard" who can have either the Lore of: Death, Beasts, Shadows, Life, Fire or Light. The new Hero type is classified as a runesmith so it won’t take up any Astromancer or Alchemist slots. They are recruited from the new buildings: Wizard’s Conclave or Wizard’s Tower. All the wizards have cathayan innate traits and have the Wind Harmony and Ranged Discipline character skills. They also have the Mastery of the Elemental Winds Passive and the: Scouting, Spread Control, Steal Technology, Wound, Assult Units and Specialist campaign skills. Finally they only have a horse as a mount option.
UPDATE NOTES: Now the Elemental Wizards have stats more in line with their cathayan counterparts as well as cathayan warhorses (they no longer use the barded horse from previous versions), the Wizard Building chain will no longer give increased ranks to Elemental Wizards, but will instead increase the winds of magic reserve depending on its level. The Astromancer Tower and Alchemist Tower will now give +2 capacity for Astromancers and Alchemists at rank V.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The latest version of the mod (7.2) now requires Building Progression Icons and Mixer in order to work. Without Mixer you won’t be able to recruit wizards.
NOTE:
If Creative Assembly decides to add any new spellcaster heroes of any of the 8 primary lores of magic to Cathay then I will delete the wizard with the same lore from the mod! Also please rate this mod.
