The Heer, the primary fighting portion of the Wehrmacht during the Second World War, now with more feldbluse!
This isn’t really a primary project of mine, but I wanted to experiment with a different era as well as overlaying textures. Turns out, they work pretty gosh darn well. After this I’ll probably make a pack for the Waffen-SS / SS-VT, and then I don’t know, either the Luftwaffe or Panzerwaffe.
The addon includes four Heer models:
- Heer Early War
- Run of the mill Jerry with an M36 blouse and raised litzen
- Heer Mid War
- Even more run-of-the-mill German with an M40 blouse and generic litzen, perfect for any period of WW2 you’re uncertain on
- Heer Late War
- Super run-of-the-mill Kraut with a Heer-pattern M43 blouse
- Heer Very Late War
- Features an M43 einheitsfeldmützen and an M43 feldbluse with two tones of materials to showcase a factory production issue.
I based the feldbluse model itself on a variety of images online and a couple repros I have sitting around, so I’d at least hopefully like to say I made it look fair to the real deal. They have all the basic insignia of your typical enlisted Heer soldier – breast eagle, shoulder boards, helmet decals, and litzen. There is no belt buckle texture because who cares about belt buckles, a slab of silver works just as well. The equipment is basic b tier, the gas mask can actually has the reinforcing whatever you call them, the dents, heck if I know what they’re called, and it rests at around 4800 tris.

This addon does not endorse the NSDAP, crimes committed by the Heer, or any other part of the Third Reich, and is purely made for historical intent. The addon features swastikas, I will censor them if this violates RF Workshop policy. Yes I basically just copied my HARP disclaimer and tweaked it.
