Description:

What does this basically do?

A different approach is taken at how the ‘Secure the High Kingdom of the North Sea’ handles things by changing the decision itself.

Any thought process?

I always thought unnecessarily strict the need to wait almost an entire reign’s lifetime to create this Empire title. Aside from that, nowadays this decision is so hidden behind condition after condition that this Empire pretty rarely comes up during playthroughs already.

What does this specifically do?

‘Secure the High Kingdom of the North Sea’ decision:

Effects section:
- Dynamically announces which Kingdom titles will be destroyed.
- Dynamically announces which Kingdom titles will become De Jure Part.
- (for more unmentioned changes, check the ‘NSE’ Backstage section below)
Requirements section:
- You are Top Liege / You are in Independent Ruler
- Your Level of Fame is Illustrious (3) or above
- You Completely Control the Region of North Sea Heartlands
- At least one of these:
  - You hold the Kingdom of England title
  - You hold the Kingdom of Denmark title
  - You hold the Kingdom of Norway title
- <one_of_the_above_as_primary_title> held for 10 years
‘NSE’ Backstage section:
- Only rulers near or within the Historical/De Jure borders have access.
- If any of these Kingdom-tier titles are being Held or Completely Controlled then the North Sea Empire becomes De Jure liege of it:
  - Kingdom of Wales
  - Kingdom of Scotland
  - Kingdom of Ireland
  - Kingdom of Frisia
  - Kingdom of Brittany
  - Kingdom of Daneland (if available)
  - Kingdom of Mann & The Isles (if available)
- If these Duchy-tier titles are being Held or Completely Controlled simultaneously then the North Sea Empire becomes De Jure liege of them:
  - Duchy of Flanders becomes De Jure Part of the Kingdom of Neustria
  - Duchy of Normandy becomes De Jure Part of the Kingdom of Neustria
