-Trailer is very Outdated, and features the very first Nostalgia build-

A faithful return to the experience that started it all.

Step back into 2013, where survival meant more than loot and K/D ratios.
DayZ: Nostalgia began as a singleplayer love letter to Dean “Rocket” Hall’s original Arma 2 mod — rebuilt in Arma 3 with care and reverence. But since it’s release people have asked for multiplayer capability and now it is here as a standalone, Welcome to DayZ: Nostalgia (LIVE)

🧬 Built From the Bones of Arma 2
This isn’t inspired by the mod — it is the mod, reimagined in Arma 3:
✅ Original Arma 2 zombies — priests, doctors, officers, teachers — ported and restored
✅ Original Arma 2 sounds and animations — every reload, footstep, and infection groan feels like 2013
✅ Authentic vehicles and gear, recreated and ported for accuracy
✅ Helicopter crash sites with rare loot and tall smoke plumes — just like you remember
✅ Classic survivor, hero, and bandit role "Skins" — OG role identity

🌍 Survival, Just Like You Remember It
The survival mechanics have been rebuilt from the ground up using a custom dual-framework, combining Ravage and Misery to create a faithful recreation of the original DayZ Mod systems:
🧼 Hunger, thirst, infection, and sickness
🔥 Fire building, cooking, resting, temperature & hypothermia
🎣 Hunting, fishing, and wilderness survival
😷 Morale and psychological stress effects

🧍‍♂️ Not Alone, Never Safe
To capture the feel of old-school multiplayer without the griefers and server wipes:
🧠 Roaming AI factions (Bandits, Loners, Friendlies) simulate real players
Note: killing hostile or friendly "Loners" do not count towards the new humanity system or the VALKEN-Bee Rating System
🗣️ Recruitment mechanics let you form loose survivor groups
⚰️ Trust is earned — or betrayed

🆕 New Features
VALKEN-Bee Rating System
A custom score framework that acts as your final death report. VALKEN-Bee is always watching — judging your humanity, bandit kills, and murders. Upon death it will score you one of four ratings: Bambi, Survivor, Bandit or Hero.
LHD (Live Humanity Debug)
A custom debug monitor inspired by the OG Arma 2 DayZ mod Live Debug, complete with a built-in point system based on bandit kills and murders. It runs separately from the VALKEN-Bee Rating System (though they align perfectly). It displays your humanity points, zombie kills, bandit kills, and current role (Hero, Bandit, Survivor), plus it enforces a built-in penalty/reward system:

Drop below 2500 humanity points and you will be forced into a bandit mask that cannot be removed until you reach back up to 2500 or higher.
Keep following that path and drop below 200 and you can earn the classic bandit outfit (this one can be removed).
Raise above 5000 humanity and you earn Hero status, and will be equipped with the Hero kit.

Any items in your deleted current outfit during a Forced Kit Change will be stored in your bag for both hero and bandit. All hero items can be removed as they count as a reward, not a penalty like the Bandit mask.

📺 Fully Immersive, Fully Nostalgic
🎮 Original load screens, lore text, and startup menus restored
🧪 The 2013 prion virus is back — fast, rabid infected born from real-world virology
🎧 Atmospheric horror with every step — the world is dying, and you’re next
🎭 This is a sandbox. There are no quests. No markers. No second chances.
Only stories. The ones you create.

🏁 Final Word
DayZ: Nostalgia isn’t just a mission — it’s a memory made playable.
If you’ve ever wanted to relive that raw DayZ Mod experience — without servers, scripts, or strangers — this is your story.
Wander a living world filled with bandits, loners, traders, and friendlies, bringing the large-scale multiplayer feel — without the cheaters, & griefers. Coastal spawns, immersive loading screens, and original-style intros bring the nostalgia full circle.

No safe zones. No hand-holding.
Only survival.
