Player Construction x20
Effect
Multiplies the weekly construction progress for every building you put up by 20x in human player-controlled countries. Construction Sectors keep running at vanilla pace with vanilla goods inputs and vanilla employment, but because each building receives 20x weekly progress, completion time drops to 1/20 of vanilla and total goods consumed per building automatically drops to 1/20 — a truly free 20x build speed. AI countries are completely unaffected.

- Scales weekly construction progress per building group: the modifier contains 10
building_group_bg_X_construction_efficiency_add = 19.0
entries covering heavy / military / light industry, ranching, agriculture, plantations, extraction, infrastructure, government and military buildings. Weekly progress ×20, completion time ÷20, goods consumption naturally scales to 1/20.
- Construction Sectors run at vanilla pace: PM unchanged, goods inputs unchanged, employment unchanged. What’s amplified is the progress each building receives — sectors produce vanilla construction points and a building burns through its progress requirement in 1/20 the time. Truly free build.
- Does NOT override any vanilla file (no PM / building / PMG / tech overrides). Fully compatible with every other mod — including MORE OIL!, Synthetic Oil and Rubber, any economy-balance mod.
- Covers virtually all buildings via 10 building groups (factories, farms, mines, railways, ports, government, military, etc.).
- Active at game start, monthly self-healing for new country formation, subject release, civil war victory,

in debug_mode, country abandonment. AI takeovers auto-strip the bonus.

Compatibility
Fully compatible with every other mod (modifier system is orthogonal, no vanilla files overridden). Stacks freely with Player Oil, Player Rubber, Player Shipbuilding, Player Full Market Access, Player Unlock All Technology. Tamer variants: Player Construction x5 / Player Construction x10. Do not enable more than one tier of this series at once (the percent fields add up to nonsensical multipliers).
Caveats
- Construction Sectors themselves still build at vanilla speed: vic3 has no
bg_construction_construction_efficiency_add
field. So your first sector takes vanilla time to build — but once it’s up, every other building goes 20x. Every vanilla country starts with a 1-level sector so this is barely an issue.
