Description:

Based on the first Command and Conquer game by Westwood/EA, this is the first mission of the GDI campaign adapted to the squad based gameplay and world of Arma 3.

This is not meant to be a direct port of C&C. This mod world is an adaption of the first Tiberian story that is meshed into the world of Arma.

BEACHHEAD X16-Y42

Following Nod’s successes across central Europe, from the Balkans, through Poland, to the Baltic States, GDI was forced to adopt an aggressive policy.

Terrorist attacks on the Austrian Grain Trade Center and in Slovenia forced the UN’s hand and newly commissioned forces of the GDI agency were ordered to press the attack. A vulnerability in Nod’s frontier defenses was identified on the northern coast of Estonia and an amphibious assault force was dispatched to attack from the Baltic Sea.

Nod forces have fortified hasty defense positions at a beachhead at grid coordinates X16-Y42.

The landings will be made under enemy fire but the GDI light infantry have the support of gunboats and armored vehicles. During this operation, an MCV (Mobile Command Vehicle) will also be deployed to give GDI the upper hand in establishing a command position. This will enable GDI troops to more readily coordinate their advance and bypass Nod’s border defenses.

As a new GDI recruit in this operation, your mission is simple. Knock out all defensive fortifications in the area, eliminate all Nod troops garrisoned in the town, and repel any counter attacks. Good luck.
