Nearby Animals – Real-Time Animal Tracking & Management

Compatible with 42.12, 42.13, 42.14, 42.15,42.16,42.17

Track and manage all nearby animals with ease! This mod adds a comprehensive UI panel that displays animals within 10 tiles, showing their current status, health, and needs at a glance.

Key Features:
  • Real-Time Detection – Automatically detects animals within 10 tiles and updates the list as you move
  • Comprehensive Stats Display – View HP, Hunger, Thirst, and Stress levels with visual progress bars
  • Animal Icons – See each animal’s icon for quick identification
  • Gender Indicators – Visual M/F indicators to identify animal gender
  • Petting Status – Know which animals have been petted in the last 24 hours (for XP tracking)
  • Quick Actions – Left-click to highlight animals, right-click for full context menu
  • Keyboard Toggle – Press T (default) to toggle the panel on/off. Fully configurable hotkey in settings
  • Configurable Hotkey – Customize your toggle key via the settings panel (gear icon). Settings are saved per-player
  • Multi-Language Support – Available in English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian

How to Use:

Press T (default) to toggle the panel visibility. You can customize the hotkey by clicking the gear icon (⚙) in the top-right corner of the panel. The panel automatically updates as you move around, showing all animals within range. The mod only runs when the UI is visible, ensuring optimal performance when the panel is hidden.
