MOLOT GROUP – Lapa Hood
This Viper Hood release was prepared specifically for the MOLOT GROUP community on the theme of a special forces unit of the Republic of Chernarus.
This viperhood is made of a special mesh material designed to reduce weight and improve ventilation. The camouflage element itself, in addition to the hood itself, consists of a set of 3D leaves sewn into the body, manufactured using the same technology used by other brands, such as Jack Pyke. The cape is available in four camouflage patterns: Multicam, Multicam Tropic, Multicam Alpine, and Sapsan (Autumn Real Tree). This cape is manufactured by Lapa Gear, a company that has been producing camouflage gear since the 2020s. The camouflage viperhood, in particular, gained popularity after the widespread use of various ghillie 3D suits during the Special Military Operation in Ukraine by various special forces units on both sides of the conflict. Lapa Gear, in particular, was a response to the daring sabotage operations deep behind enemy lines by Russian special operations forces, who used camouflage suits from S.O.K.L. (Средства Скрытия) during their missions. In addition to the Viper Hood V7’s popularity among Ukrainian special forces, the Viper Hood has also gained popularity among Western specialists in NATO countries, and Lapa Gear hoods can now be seen from the Czech Republic to North America.
The mod was originally created for the main modification on the theme of the special forces units of the Republic of Chernarus – the 83rd SSPR, but at the request of one good person, I separated this viperhood into a separate mod in case someone wants to use it separately and not download unnecessary content.
