[WotC] GNAR’s Not Created Equal With Mod Menu and Secondwave toggle
GNAR’s Not Created Equal is a modular stat-randomization mod for XCOM 2: War of the Chosen. This mod ensures that no two soldiers are identical by randomizing their base stats upon recruitment or generation. Whether you want minor variations to keep your barracks interesting or wild swings in performance, this mod gives you full control over the process.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Boost and Cripple adds an independent, single-pass chance roll to all individual soldier stats. For every single stat, you can customize a flat bonus value (Boost) and a flat penalty value (Cripple), alongside a dedicated percentage chance for each modifier to trigger. These traits roll separately from baseline randomization, allowing you to fine-tune unique soldier variances or enforce brutal stat adjustments!
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
By popular demand, Faction Heroes and unique campaign story characters now have a dedicated safety layer! Instead of automatically being subjected to flat stat additions or reductions, heroes must first roll against a customizable global "Allowance Gate" percentage check in the Mod Config Menu.
If a Hero or unique character fails the global allowance check, any corresponding stat modifications (both positive increases or negative reductions) are totally ignored for them, keeping their baseline performance secure.
Affected Characters Include:
• Reaper Soldiers (including Speaker Volk)
• Skirmisher Soldiers
• Templar Soldiers
• Jane Kelly
• Central Officer Bradford (Tactical/Mission variants)
• Lily Shen (Tactical/Mission variants
• SPARKS
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
• Highly Configurable: Use the Mod Config Menu (MCM) to toggle individual stats on or off (HP, Offense, Mobility, Will, Defense, Dodge, Hacking, Psi Offense, and Armor).
• Customizable Ranges: Set your own minimums, maximums, and base values for every single stat.
• Hero Protection Layers: Use dedicated sliders to independently adjust how likely Faction Heroes and unique characters are to receive positive boosts or suffer from negative cripple modifiers.
• Balanced or Chaotic: Whether you want to maintain game balance or embrace the chaos of "natural" soldier variance, you define the rules.
• Lightweight: Designed to be performance-friendly and compatible with standard soldier generation pipelines.

This mod requires the Mod Config Menu (MCM). Once installed:
Launch the game and open the Mod Config Menu from the main menu or while in-game.
Navigate to the NCE settings page.
Use the checkboxes to enable/disable randomization for specific stats.
Adjust the sliders to set the "Floor" (Min) and "Ceiling" (Max) for your stat pools.
Adjust Hero Gate Sliders: Set the "Hero Positive Layer Allowance (%)" and "Hero Negative Layer Allowance (%)" to control how often special characters can trigger stat alterations. Setting these to 100% means they behave like normal soldiers, while 0% completely shields them from changes.
Click Save: Your settings will be applied immediately to any new soldiers generated by the game.
Remember: Make sure to enable GNAR Not Created Equal in the Advanced Options menu before you start a campaign!

• Mod Conflicts: This mod should be compatible with most soldier-related mods, provided they do not attempt to override the stat assignment logic for new recruits.
• Existing Soldiers: This mod affects newly generated or recruited soldiers. It will not retroactively change the stats of soldiers already present in your current barracks.
