Prettier Programs
Is the UI doing too good a job? Would you like to spoil your eyes with random acidic colours? Do I have the mod for you.
Prettier Programs offers two modules; both cosmetic on their own.
Programs that require non-PWR resources to be used no longer have a sad "0 PWR" label next to them, and their real resource buried somewhere in the tooltip or description. At a glance, you’ll immediately know – Bribe takes credits, Sun advances the alarm, and Bullet needs 1 kill to recharge.
Hover over a program, and under the name, there’s a new line, telling you in the roughest of terms what to expect of the program. Breakers, generators, daemon-seekers, it’s all there. Also, these types are not just there for show – modders can actually use them to, for example, make a Daemon that disables only your breaker programs. (but they’re also there for show 😀 )
Every colour can be customized through the included config file!
1) Navigate to the mod’s folder (that’ll most likely be ../steamapps/common/InvisibleInc/mods/workshop-3730252850)
2) Open colour_config.lua (any text editor, like Notepad, will suffice)
3) Insert whichever colours you prefer!
