Franz Ferdinand was going to Bosnia and Herzegovina that was a condominion of Austria and Hungary,meaning it was part of neither countries,it was adminstrated by both countries though (Mostly Austria).
his driver took a wrong turn,and came face to face with an unknown creature,which killed him,the Austrians and Hungarians blamed the serbs for killing him,but it turns out it was someone else,or rather something else.

It turns out the creature that killed Franz Ferdinand was an Alien,an alien from Mars,and since the alien which got killed was from Mars,a Martian army came to earth to destroy all of its life and steal all of its resources to send them to mars,unfortunately for the humans,in July the Russian Revolution started,ending in the death of Nicholas II,and many other revolutions and rebellions to happen trough the continent. The Martians first landed in Bjuröklubb,near Löfånger/Lövånger where they were first believed to be Russian mines,but after some time it was revealed that it was Aliens,from mars,which was something the fishers had never seen before.
