Description:

Update (5-18-2026):

Height advantage bonus can now be defined by you. Previously, calculation is based on horizontal cover value, deducted by horizontal good angle. But today, we can define our own values for low cover and high cover and no cover.

Height advantage no longer checks if the enemies are in cover before doing the maths.

In the ini you’ll find:

MinimumVertHeight = 10 ;(0 means Fully Horizontal Line of Fire)
MaximumVertHeight = 60 ;( 90 means Fully Vertical Line of Fire)

MinimumVertHeight defines when to start considering the attacker is higher in elevation or not against the target.
MaximumVertHeight defines the angle to consider to apply maximum bonus. here, at 60 degrees, maximum height advantage bonus should cap out to maximum.

BaseHeightAdvantageBonus = 5;
VerticalCoverValueLow = 25;
VerticalCoverValueHigh = 40;
VerticalCoverDefault = 25;

BaseHeightAdvantageBonus will always be added to height advantage bonus as a flat value.
VerticalCoverValueLow is the value assigned to vertical cover if the target is in low cover.
VerticalCoverHigh is the value assigned to vertical cover if the target is in high cover.
VerticalCoverDefault is the value used when target is not in cover.

These values serve as maximum height advantage bonus. As angle towards the target diminish, bonus also diminish.

Requires Highlander

This mod is a fix of RW Realistic Aiming Angles here:

Choose only one. Either the original or this. There can be only one.

As of this upload horizontal aiming angles work. Currently set at 0-90, but you can go into the ini and edit it back to 45.

Also No line of sight penalty is now default 0, and Flanking bonus is now universal 25 (can edit in the INI). No need to edit character stats.

Also, I use this add-on to complete a Gnar’s WotC Tactics Mod II experience. You don’t need that mod anymore. Use this and the add-on here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3727584968

If not, you can use this Weapon Range Table here:
