CALL OF VENGEANCE – 01 LINE IN THE SAND
You are part of the BDF Naval Air Force, launching from carrier groups into a full-scale amphibious invasion. Two fronts. One operation. Absolute chaos.
This mission is long, very cinematic with explosions at all time, and unforgiving. If you don’t act, the operation collapses. It’s not impossibly hard, but inactivity will break the operation.
Overview
Line in the Sand is a large-scale, realistic amphibious invasion (possibly the most realistic in Nuclear Option history!) Focused on air superiority, strike missions, and sustained close air support, you will launch from carrier groups and choose how to support the operation: assist the western beach assault or strike targets around the eastern port.
This is not a scripted, on-rails mission. Objectives exist on both fronts, and ignoring one side leads to failure. Success depends on your priorities, timing, and coordination. The mission includes subtle dynamic events and hidden systems that most players won’t notice, but are there to improve realism and player agency.
Your Role
Dominate the airspace. Enemy air defenses are dense and layered, requiring persistent effort to suppress and destroy. Protect friendly bombers and transports, then maintain pressure with strike runs and CAS to secure landing zones and follow-on forces. Our overarching objective is liberating North Boscali Airbase and Maris airport.
Once forces are on the ground, CAS becomes critical. Anything threatening the beachhead, convoys, or airborn assaults is your responsibility
Objectives & Features
• Two carrier groups supporting separate axes of attack.
• Multiple major objectives and dozens of optional or high-risk objectives.
• Freedom to choose which front to support. Western front demands precision; eastern front is more forgiving.
• Optional objectives: Eliminate enemy command bunkers to cripple coordination, capture oil rigs, secure ballistic missile storage/sub pens, destroy Kramenka Industries, capture cargo ships, airlift air defense missile launchers, liberate factories, seize North Boscali Airbase and Maris Airport, and more.
• Dynamic events: Ambushes, fallback objectives if key assets are destroyed, timeouts for optional objectives, and other hidden improvements for quality-of-life and realism.
• Fully playable solo or in co-op. Difficulty scales dynamically with player count.
• Extensive use of carrier aviation, bombers, and transport aircraft.
• Replayable structure: Player choices dramatically affect difficulty, flow, and mission pacing.
Mission Timeline & Environment
• Operation begins at 0600, partly cloudy skies with cloud base at 1400m.
• Eastern and western fronts progress independently; your choices determine which front completes objectives first.
• Objectives can be tackled in different orders, but poor timing or coordination will be punished.
Length & Difficulty
• Solo: ~2 hours for skilled players.
• Co-op: ~1 hour or more depending on coordination. Best played with low player counts (with a couple friends, rather than a big server)
• Constant pressure, heavy air defenses, and nonstop action.
Control the air, and the line holds. Fail, and it breaks.
