4v4 -F6- LandCruisers Cane Bay
Each team begins on opposite sides of mountain ranges overlooking a wide central bay. The terrain allows players to fire across the map from elevated positions, making it possible to harass or disrupt enemy economy. However, players must cross the bay to win. The Propeller Controller mod enables LandCruisers to cross the water by converting LandCruiser forts into functional boats at which point your LandCruiser can enter/exit water at will. Both land-based and sea-based battles will ensue.
Players can establish early economic advantage and apply pressure from the mountains using long-range weapons. Firing over the opposing mountain can reach enemy main bases and disrupt enemy economy thereby forcing defensive reactions that distract them from the grand battle. However, a decisive victory involves crossing Cane Bay. Coordinated attacks are usually the most effective where one player attacks enemy resources by firing from the top of the mountain while other players attack main bases directly by crossing the bay and engaging in close-range tank or boat battles.
Why 50% gravity? LandCruisers maps are huge. Slightly reduced gravity allows projectiles to fly farther facilitating long distance tank battles. Additionally, tanks are less prone to bottoming out, and vehicle mechanics feels more natural.
