4v4 -F6- As Above So Below
In this mirrored layout, each player manages what feels like two bases: one above and one below. Each base has 2 cores and moderate room for economy. The map is designed such that any core (above or below) can hit any other core (above or below). This prevents stagnation where Team1 may have survived below, but Team2 survived up top. The fight will rage on until a victor is declared.
Destroying one enemy core (above or below) does not prevent them from rebuilding a base there if they have one core left on the other side as they are connected. A good strategy is to coordinate with your team and target all top bases or all bottom bases. Once you have wiped out the upper or lower level, keep that level suppressed so that they cannot rebuild and then begin working on the other side during continued suppression. You may have already noticed that all the economy runs down the center of the map and this is a huge weakness if not defended well. If the enemy gives you an opportunity, run lasers down the center of the map and lay waste to the enemy economy. Make your shots count, because if you miss or lack the energy to fire rapidly in succession, a simple shield will mitigate this strategy. The key is to catch them by surprise and destroy most if not all the economy in a couple shots.
